let us be married, too long we have tarried…

i’ve been working on and off for the last few months on some designs to be used for my friends’ wedding (my design for the invites appeared in an earlier post).  The wedding took place last weekend, and it was a lovely day at a great venue with guests coming from as far north as edinburgh and as far south as lille in france.  I really enjoyed designing, illustrating and making most of the items that would appear on the day – i spent a lot of time drawing, folding, cutting, glueing and stapling.  All together there were orders of service, the table plan, name cards and illustrated menu cards.  I also made 140 badges –  an owl and a pussycat for each dinner guest.  i really enjoyed working on this for laura and andy, i got a lot of lovely comments from guests, and i felt it was a real priviledge for me to be involved in their special day in this way.  thanks to them for the opportunity and good luck and best wishes to them for the future.

Really love those badges, Chris. The Wedding guests would have been well chuffed to get those! The whole package looks great
