i’ve done some promotional work for a couple of house music events in my home city this year – the first took place over the summer and the second takes place this evening. feel good promises to be the halloween party for house music lovers and to quote the flyer: “an amazing, amusing, titillating and subversive spiritual soiree.” if you’re in birmingham (uk), this evening you should check it out!
the idea for the branding was to encapsulate a ‘summer of love’ feeling with the flower icon and the twisting, hallucenagenic typography; the red and black colour scheme has kind-of stuck for the time time being (though it works well with other colours – you’ll have to wait for more events to see how that works out). included below are some promo materials from both events: posters, flyers, facebook and twitter headers. let me know what you think.
